Our Philosophy
Urban Design is an aspect of physical planning which focuses on creating an idealized environment along the urban pedestrian core in which to live, work and play through the shaping and management of urban public space. It is best conceptualized as the field of design that operates at the intersection of three related disciplines and the principles thereof, namely that of urban planning, architecture, and landscape architecture.

As the urban areas of the Caribbean age, and decentralized urban development ensues, given the space limitations common amongst the territories of the archipelago, urban design as a profession has become ever more relevant. With a view to creating sustainable communities to dwell in, aging city cores must be revitalized to preserve a region’s history and heritage whilst supporting contemporary culture, and newly developed areas must be shaped for consistency, functionality and fit within the surrounding cityscapes.
